Workshop for artists & photographers — make your authentic short film in 5 sessions.

Are you a visual artist or photographer, and would you like to create a professional work in film form?
This workshop is designed especially for makers like you, who want to expand their artistic vision into the medium of film — without compromising on style, content, or expressive power.

In five intensive live sessions in Amsterdam, guided by an experienced filmmaker, you will develop a short film that is professionally produced, artistically layered, and fully your own.
Starting from your existing practice, images, or themes, you’ll translate them into a powerful short cinematic work with professional support.

What you’ll get:

• Professional coaching – from idea to final edit

• Creative input – structure, storytelling, visual language, use of sound

• Small group, lots of personal attention – max. 5 participants and creative exchange

• 5 live sessions in Amsterdam (Westerpark area) + individual work in between sessions

• Guaranteed result – your own short film, ready for presentation or screening

No prior film experience required.

Dates: Friday afternoons, 1–4 pm → October 17 & 31, November 14 & 28, December 12
Fee: €675 (subsidy may be available via PPO or other institutions)
